breath

Breath you take my breath
away I go in to the air
fill me up with helium
pop me from the sky

Perfect Gift

Life is gift no matter how much we hate it sometimes, we must thank God for every day that we breath every second we spend with loved ones even, the tough times good times and the stretching times. Kierkegaard says it well "In repentance you receive everything from God, even the thanks you give him, in the same way that parents enjoy the fun of receiving a present from their child when they are really only receiving what they themselves have given...You were always willing to thank God, but this was somehow inadequate. Then you understood that God is the one who does everything in you and then allows you the childlike pleasure of thinking that your thanks are a gift you give him." (Spiritual Writings 19)

This made me really think today about my life and how I live it because everything we are given is a gift. When I went to get my oil changed I acted differently, I loved more. When you let everything go and belong completely to God there is new freedom to treat others with a different respect and love than any other time you will ever have in your life. As long as keep searching for our own shallow satisfaction we will be empty and alone but the only way to live is to give up the pursuit of happiness and realize everything we recieve is a gift from God

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. -James 1:17

have never seen, pain bring forth joy
joy bring forth a realization there is something to
live for, Love infiltrate my entire mind, body and soul.
Let me life be about truth and love giving freely of both
never hold back, always push forward, let growth grow from
my heart not from my mind. From my trust in God let me see how
he sees me how he sees each human being. His boundless love that transforms
my life. Depression leave this heart of mine I cannot live within the shadow of the past
nothing good comes of living from others mistakes or your own. Come to a place of persistent joy in God and what he has created for us, to abide in him and to love others with a pure undefiled heart. Cleanse me, strip me, flush from me these evil desires, saturate my mind with your purpose for me, let nothing else get in the way but to be transformed by u everyday, let me grow as u push me towards a better man.

Winter Understanding

Living out here in the middle of Ohio has been a challenge within my own mind, soul, and physical life. It has brought me to the most healthiest times of my life because I have actually been able to set aside all distractions and get down to the root of what makes me me. Within this journey it is has brought me to highs and lows and realizing that there is more to life than satisfying myself. I have realized that when I give myself up to God more and more I grow stronger as a person and within my own spiritual life. When I rely on what I see as being happy or doing it on my own I find myself in a deep hole. I realize that there is nothing better than being submitted to God and his will whatever it looks like. I also realized no one can tell u what to do with your life except God because it is useless to strive on your own and find yourself thirty years down the road dying inside grasping for life that has no real purpose other than your own wants and needs and the day to day grind. Therefore each day I am continually seeking to live more and more open with God and loving others, Jesus made it really clear that all we need to Do is love God with all we are and love our neighbors as ourselves and through these actions we show our devotion to God and allow him to complete our lives. The winter has been the best time to realize this because you are stuck in your house most of the times, I am not saying I perfect example of what a christian is but I am striving to follow more and more after Jesus example but it is so hard. Hopefully through this time in my life I will be a more healthy and whole person.

On a less serious note it is great to be married and there is nothing like having a wife to bounce things off of. Someone who actually tells you when your wrong and allows you to grow just through her presence. I got my license a couple weeks back and it has inspired me to be more proactive and actually get things done. Procrastination is one of my biggest downfalls lol. I have been reading a lot lately also mainely, works of love, 1984, and just finshed of mice and men and it is so good to read because it gets your mind active and thinking about many things which also helps me to process life.
